Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support to fill a current need.

Responsibilities

• Low- and high-risk obstetrics


• Labor and delivery


• Vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, vaginal birth after cesarean


• Circumcisions, emergent gynecology cases (ectopic pregnancy, hemorrhage), gynecologic surgery


• Obstetric ultrasounds, fetal heart monitoring interpretation

Schedule

Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM, 24‑hour in‑house coverage; 1 weekend per month from Aug–Dec 2026, then 2–3 weekends per month ongoing.

Credentialing & Licensure

• Credentialing timeframe: 30–90 days (emergency temporary privileges available)


• Licensure required: Ohio medical license


• Certifications required: Board certified, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, active Drug Enforcement Administration credential
