Position Overview
Community Health Center, Outpatient – Full‑time (or part‑time) OB/GYN Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Midwife at CIFC Health, a program of the Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. Provide prenatal and gynecologic care to an underserved population in Danbury, CT. Outpatient only; no call, no labor & delivery. Includes high‑risk OB, IUD, Nexplanon, colposcopy, and LEEP procedures. OB/GYN residents from Northwell rotate through the clinic and teaching opportunities are available.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including high‑risk OB management
- Conduct gynecologic examinations and surgical procedures such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, colposcopy, and LEEP
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with health‑care regulations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient‑centered care
- Mentor OB/GYN residents and support their clinical rotations
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree required
- Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice in the State of CT
- Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
- Spanish language skills preferred
