Overview
Wonderful opportunity to work with an academic-focused group in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are a well-established community health center providing both prenatal and gynecologic care to an underserved population in Danbury, CT. The position is available for a full-time or part-time OB/GYN physician, Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Midwife.
Responsibilities
The position is outpatient only with no call responsibilities, and no labor & delivery work. OB/GYN residents from Northwell rotate through the clinic and teaching opportunities are available.
We provide the full range of prenatal care, including high risk OB, as well as Gyn procedures including IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, colposcopy and LEEP procedures.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. Degree required.
- Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice in the State of CT.
- Board certified or Board eligible.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
