A growing Critical Access Hospital is seeking an experienced ED Manager to lead a collaborative nursing team and oversee the daily operations of a busy Emergency Department. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with nursing and executive leadership while driving quality patient care, operational excellence, and staff engagement.
Position Highlights

- Oversee 40 FTEs, including ED nursing staff, technicians, and House Supervisors

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical and operational oversight of the Emergency Department
- Mentor and support a high-performing nursing team
- Oversee staffing, budgeting, and departmental operations
- Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safety
- Partner with physicians and leadership to enhance patient care and department performance
Qualifications
- BSN, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a BSN currently in progress
- Current Registered Nurse license
- 3+ years of recent hospital nursing experience
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Emergency Department experience preferred
- ICU/Critical Care experience welcomed
- Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience strongly preferred
- TNCC certification preferred
