Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to a seasoned Med‑Surg Nurse Manager/Director, you will partner closely with charge nurses, unit educators, case management, pharmacy, therapy, and hospitalists to drive daily flow, acuity‑based staffing, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mentoring and precepting new staff
• Elevating evidence‑based practice
• Stewarding quality metrics such as falls, HAI reduction, and CAUTI/CLABSI prevention
• Optimizing EHR documentation
• Leading huddles and rapid‑cycle PDSA initiatives
• Supporting patient and family communication
