FTE: 1.0 | Shift: Days | Schedule: 4 10‑hour days | Minimum of two years' experience as a primary care provider preferred.

Position Summary

Clinician member of the MultiCare Medical Partners multidisciplinary team delivering population-based care. The ARNP will provide comprehensive primary care services focusing on prevention, chronic disease management and health promotion for diverse patient populations. This role requires collaboration with physicians, RNs, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health specialists and other professionals to optimize the health of MultiCare communities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, develop plans, and prescribe medications for patients across the lifespan.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic disease using evidence‑based guidelines.
  • Provide preventive care, health education and counseling to individuals and families.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including direct patient encounters and asynchronous care.
  • Participate in coverage for clinic colleagues per departmental guidance.
  • Participate in after‑hours call coverage per departmental guidance.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, care reviews and care planning.
  • Coordinate care with all members of the delivery team.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of population-based care.
  • Utilize data and risk stratification tools to prioritize patients at greatest risk for outreach.
  • Engage in quality improvement focused on health outcomes, cost effectiveness and cost reduction.
  • Support transitions of care and reduce readmissions and ED use.
  • Demonstrate the MultiCare values of compassion, stewardship, kindness, joy, collaboration and respect.
  • Adhere to MultiCare policies and processes.

Requirements

  • Maintains active Washington State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • DEA and state prescriptive authority.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
