Clinical Duties:
- Collaborate with physicians to receive guidance and instruction for orthopedic patient care.
- Assess and provide tailored treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
- Accurately document patient encounters in a clear, concise, and precise manner.
- Implement lower extremity treatment (to include foot and ankle) plans, as directed by the physician.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the physician and patient, ensuring patient questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Obtain pre-certifications from insurance for tests, procedures, and treatments as necessary.
- Complete disability forms, orders, and ABNs.
- Assist or perform tasks that ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to both patient and physician schedules.
- Adhere to federal HIPAA regulations and practice policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.
