What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in synergy with physicians or independently based on your qualifications
• Educating patients and their families on strategies for prevention, health maintenance, and effective disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments aligned with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management

• Maintaining precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
