Your Responsibilities

• Performing extensive patient evaluations, authorizing diagnostic exams, and designing personalized care pathways
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently, as your credentials allow
• Instructing patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness, and disease management strategies
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management initiatives
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to guarantee fluid, comprehensive care
• Accurately and comprehensively documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license within the state of Hawaii
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an appropriate specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the ability to obtain them within 90 days
