This essential role delivers medical care to both guests and crew, supports shipboard health protocols, and ensures the smooth operation of the onboard medical center. It is a unique opportunity for skilled and adaptable healthcare professionals to work in a dynamic, multicultural maritime environment.All placements are made directly with the cruise line Crew Life At Sea does not charge any recruitment or placement fees.Role Responsibilities:Provide nursing care to guests and crew, including both routine and emergency servicesAssist the ships doctor with patient care, triage, and minor medical proceduresOperate and maintain medical equipment, including life support and diagnostic toolsConduct regular inspections of emergency and medical equipment (defibrillators, oxygen, EKG machines, etc.)Maintain medical documentation, including illness reports, medication logs, outbreak tracking, and incident recordsAssist in inventory management, including ordering and disposal of expired medicationsProvide first aid and health training to crew members as requiredSupport emergency response, drills, and evacuations as part of the ships medical teamMaintain confidentiality and adhere to medical data protection protocolsWhat You Can Expect:Competitive monthly salary paid in USDAccommodation and meals provided onboardFull medical coverage during your contractProfessional development in maritime healthcareWork in a supportive, multicultural team environmentFull assistance with onboarding, documentation, and travel arrangementsWho We Are Looking For:Bachelors DegreeRegistered Nurse (RN) with valid and current licensureMinimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience, including ER, ICU, or acute careAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required; additional critical care training preferredProficiency in operating medical equipment and managing clinical inventoryStrong administrative, organizational, and documentation skillsExcellent English communication skillsAbility to adapt to shipboard life and work in a close-knit, fast-paced environmentWorking Place: Miami, FL, United States
