This role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF).
Role Overview
Full-time (3.5-5 days per week) within Monday - Friday. No nights or weekends. Flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
- Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
- Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
Coverage area includes Montgomery and Troy, Alabama.
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated compensation range for 3.5 days per week is $91,768 - $108,521 annually with no cap on productivity income.
- Estimated compensation range for 5 days per week is $134,020 - $158,828 annually with no cap on productivity income.
- Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k).
- Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Alabama state license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
- Active DEA or willingness to obtain.
- 6 months of experience needed as a PMHNP or Psych PA.
- Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.
