Job Summary

Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate, high-quality images while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple facilities within the imaging float pool, self-scheduling shifts with a minimum commitment, and maintaining competencies at various sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing nuclear medicine exams and reviewing images for quality.
  • Ensuring patient safety, proper identification, and preparation.
  • Adhering to radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing patient education and comfort.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records.
  • Assisting with exam protocols, positioning, and equipment operation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate degree or equivalent; minimum one year of related experience preferred.
  • Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB certification; valid state license for PET/CT role.
  • Current BLS certification; IV certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of imaging techniques, radiation safety, and infection control.
  • Excellent patient care skills, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients, and to operate equipment safely. The position offers a pay range of $39.16 - $60.42 per hour, with benefits supporting overall well-being.
