Sanford Health is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join their Hospital Medicine department at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization within one of the largest and fastest-growing not-for-profit health systems in the United States.

- Scope of patients is broad ranging, including medical consultation for surgical and non-surgical subspecialty patients, excluding critical ICU admissions
- Trauma Level II hospital
- 500 bed hospital (beds in service 300)
- Closed ICU
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Coordinate of care with multidisciplinary teams

Shift & Schedule

- Shifts include 7pm-7am
- 7 days on 7 days off
Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current medical license in each state of practice
- State Controlled Substance License (if required by State)
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada)
