Practice Info
- Practice Hospital Medicine at a large community academic tertiary trauma referral center.
- Dedicated advanced practice provider support (7p-7a) and 2 physician admitters (7a-5p and 11a-9p).
- Dedicated swing/nocturnist office space next to the emergency department.
- Average # of admissions 8-10 per night.
- Great access to specialists with over 440 providers on medical staff representing 40 specialties.
- Cover only 1 hospital with 349 acute care beds, admitting medical and surgical adult patients (16 years of age and older), excluding last trimester obstetrical, and providing medical coordination and inpatient management for surgical patients.
Responsibilities
- Practice Hospital Medicine as a Nocturnist.
- Oversight of Internal Medicine residents.
- Provide medical coordination and inpatient management for surgical patients.
Compensation
- Nationally competitive shift-based compensation structures with additional performance bonuses.
