Neurosurgeon

AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon to join their established group of five experienced surgeons. This full-time position offers the opportunity to perform a full scope of neurosurgery, including functional neurosurgery, while helping to enhance and cultivate the program throughout the East Florida Division. The role is based at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a 450+ bed campus, and offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Practice Info

• Join a group of five experienced surgeons
• Dedicated Neuro ICU with Epilepsy monitoring
• APP support both inpatient and outpatient, including weekend and night coverage
• Additional operating rooms being added in 2026
• Primary location at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, which will soon be a 450+ bed campus
• NOT a trauma hospital

Responsibilities

• Perform full scope Neurosurgery
• Perform Craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, endoscopic, open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve procedures
• Perform Functional Neurosurgery
• Treat movement disorders, Parkinsons, and Epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
• Perform Stereotactic surgery
• Enhance and cultivate the Neurosurgery program throughout the East Florida Division

Requirements

• MD/DO degree required
