AdventHealth Medical Group in East Florida is seeking a dynamic Neurohospitalist to join their growing inpatient team. This role offers a flexible 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule based out of their highly-rated Daytona Beach hospital. Responsibilities
- Clinical management and comprehensive evaluation of inpatient neurological patients
- Clinical management and knowledge of the AHA Stroke Management Patient Care Guidelines
- Formulate and initiate individualized treatment plans based on therapeutic principles
- Interpret common laboratory, electrographic and radiologic findings and intervene appropriately
- Evaluate / provide /facilitate appropriate education for patients and families
- Evaluate and provide for patient discharge needs with specific recommendations for follow up in the outpatient setting
- Communicate effectively with physicians, management, staff, patients and families to ensure coordinated and cohesive execution of quality patient care in a timely manner
- Effectively/consistently collaborate with members of the health care team to coordinate treatment plans, specific patient concerns and discharge planning

Requirements
- Board Certification / Eligibility through the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology
- Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
- DEA License required (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to collaborate closely with attending hospitalists and ED team
- Strong communication skills
- Open to visa sponsorship
