This role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in technical service desk or network operations, who are familiar with monitoring tools and escalation procedures.
The primary focus is on monitoring alerts, creating incidents and ensuring timely escalation.Key Responsibilities:Alert MonitoringIncident Creation: Monitor multiple alert queues using toolsCreate and manage incidents following defined escalation proceduresNotify relevant support teams based on alert type and severityNetwork MonitoringMonitor network switches and routers using monitoring toolsHandle auto-generated network incidents from systems and engage Major Incident Management team for escalation if requiredApplication System MonitoringUse monitoring tools for application-level alerts and system/server-level alertsConfirm device connectivity via ping tests and include results in incident documentationRequired Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in a NOC and IT monitoring roleFamiliarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platformsBasic understanding of network and application infrastructureBasic troubleshooting skills (e.g., ping tests, connectivity checks)Ability to follow structured procedures and escalate issues appropriatelyStrong communication and documentation skillsWillingness to work in a 24x7 environmentPreferred Qualifications:Exposure to monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Site Scope, MuleSoft, Riverbed, or DynatraceExperience working in environments with automated alerting and incident generationKey Attributes:High availability and reliabilityStrong team collaboration and communicationProactive attitude with attention to detailThe pay range for this role is *** - **** per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. *** also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law).
