Network Management Systems (NMS) Application IntegratorWe are seeking an experienced Network Management Systems Engineer specializing in Application Integration to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between our network management systems and other enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation across our IT infrastructure.Responsibilities:Design and implement complex integrations between network management systems (Riverbed, Network Node Manager), observability platforms (e.g. Splunk, Elastic), and other enterprise applications (e.g., ServiceNow, CMDB, security tools)Develop and maintain APIs, middleware, and custom scripts to facilitate data exchange and process automationOptimize existing integrations to improve performance, reliability, and scalabilityTroubleshoot and resolve complex integration issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integration solutionsDevelop and maintain documentation for all integration architectures and processesEvaluate and recommend new integration technologies and methodologiesMentor junior engineers on integration best practices and techniquesContribute to the development of integration standards and best practicesParticipate in capacity planning and performance tuning of integrated systemsAdvanced technical skills in integration, API development, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance network management capabilities through application integrationEnsure compliance with security and data protection requirements in all integrationsQualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience10+ years of related work experienceTS/SCI with Poly requiredStrong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologiesExpertise in API development and management (REST, SOAP, GraphQL)Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)Experience with ETL processes and toolsFamiliarity with major network management platforms (e.g., Riverbed, SolarWinds, Network Node Manager)Knowledge of ITSM processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesDesired:Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, ITIL)Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecturesKnowledge of AI/ML applications in network managementExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesUnderstanding of machine learning and AI applications in network managementThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
