Automation Engineer — Network Partner Data PlatformClient's global network infrastructure relies on thousands of external partners — internet service providers (ISPs), colocation facilities, hardware vendors, and managed service providers. We're building a centralized platform to manage all of these relationships, contacts, and service data in one place.What You'll DoBuild Workflow AutomationDesign and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates, service renewals, and data lifecycle managementCreate self-service tools that allow operations teams to perform bulk data operations without needing engineering supportBuild automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring service agreementsDevelop Data Pipelines & IntegrationsBuild ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across multiple internal systemsAutomate the migration of legacy data from spreadsheets, wikis, and siloed databases into the centralized platformDevelop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies between systems and maintain data consistencyAutomate Operational ProcessesBuild tools that auto-retrieve relevant partner contacts during network incidents, reducing response timeCreate automated escalation and outreach workflows triggered by network eventsDevelop runbook automation to standardize and speed up repetitive operational tasksMonitor & ReportBuild dashboards tracking data quality, freshness, and platform adoptionImplement automated health checks and audit scripts to detect duplicates, orphaned records, or incomplete entriesCreate scheduled reports for leadership on automation ROI and data integrity metricsWhat We're Looking ForRequired:3+ years experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or DevOpsStrong proficiency in Python (scripting, API integrations, data manipulation)Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)Familiarity with SQL and data pipeline/ETL conceptsExperience with job scheduling and orchestration tools (Airflow, cron, or similar)Understanding of data quality principles (validation, deduplication, reconciliation)Comfortable working with large datasets across multiple source systemsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyPreferred:Experience with PHP or Hack (server-side scripting)Familiarity with graph databases or relationship/entity management systemsExperience with CRM, MDM (Master Data Management), or vendor management platformsUnderstanding of network infrastructure concepts (ISPs, peering, colocation, Points of Presence)Experience with Thrift or similar RPC frameworksBackground in telecom, network operations, or infrastructure servicesExperience automating processes in a large-scale enterprise environmentTech StackArea TechnologiesScripting & Automation Python, PHP/Hack, BashAPIs GraphQL, REST, Thrift (RPC)Data & Pipelines SQL, Hive/Presto (data warehouse), ETL toolingMonitoring & Dashboards Time-series metrics, log analytics, custom dashboardsOrchestration Scheduled jobs, event-driven triggersSalary Range$72,960.00 - $115,200.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
