This includes analysis, problem solving, preparing technical/functional specifications, coding, testing and implementing.Hands on experience on analytics, line listings, summary tabulations, visualizations, and dashboards by using TableauContributes to the full life cycle of safety data analytical activities – data query, report authoring, report validation, report publishing, and report generationProduce detailed design documents to match business requirementsMonitors the operating efficiency of existing application systems and provides (or arranges for) proactive maintenanceMakes modifications to development jobs and schedules jobs in productionFollows established and relevant SOPs and methodologies in performing work; provides feedback to management on changing methodologies/standard operating procedures, as appropriate.Works as an individual contributor and a team player.Flexibility to occasionally work out of hours or weekends for testing or projects is a requirement of this role.Knowledge, Experience and Skills RequiredMinimum 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.5 years' experience in report dashboard development using Tableau7 years' experience with web application technologies including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008 and above, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery Plugins, Visual Studio 2012+, MS Visio, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework 5 and above, LINQ and HTML5, Toad for oracle, Client ALMWorking experience with version control system like Subversion.Familiar with AGILE development methodologies, sprint calls, backlogs, etc.Understands architectural issues, and factors them into decisions and recommendations.
