Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join their expanding team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Practice Info
- 25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)
- 36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 14)
- Approximately 3,500 annual deliveries
- Care for all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)
- Advanced services include body cooling, oscillators, and a dedicated RN/RT-staffed regional transport team
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary team including Neonatologists, NNPs, OB Hospitalists, MFM specialists, and telehealth subspecialists
Responsibilities
- Newborn nursery rounding
- Supervising family medicine residents
- Performing circumcisions
- Opportunities to teach and mentor University of Central Florida family medicine residents
