Navigator RN
As our Navigator RN, you will serve as a compassionate guide and advocate, empowering patients and their families to seamlessly navigate complex healthcare journeys. Every day you will proactively engage with patients and their families, conducting thorough assessments of their clinical, psychosocial, and practical needs, and identifying potential obstacles to their care plan progression. You will meticulously coordinate appointments, facilitate communication between multidisciplinary care providers, educate patients on their diagnosis and treatment options, and connect them with vital community resources and support systems. To be successful in this role, you will leverage your robust clinical expertise and empathetic communication skills to build trust, alleviate anxieties, and empower patients to actively participate in their care decisions. You will collaborate seamlessly with physicians, specialists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, acting as a central point of contact and ensuring cohesive care delivery.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Two (2) years of professional nursing experience of related professional nursing work experience in the clinical focus area that demonstrates the attainment of the requisite job knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with respect to addressing barriers to care and navigating patients through their care progression
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Previous RN Navigator experience
