Musculoskeletal Radiologist

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester (URMC) is seeking an additional full- or part-time, remote or onsite radiologist to join the musculoskeletal division. The successful candidate will join a team of experienced MSK radiologists offering a wide range of diagnostic services and image-guided procedures at facilities such as the new Advanced Orthopedics Center. Faculty members will actively participate in performing procedures (if onsite), teaching, research, and service while collaborating closely with related departments.

Practice Info

• Level 1 trauma center within the Rochester region
• Division of Musculoskeletal imaging is primarily centered at the new Advanced Orthopedics Center in the repurposed Marketplace Mall
• Advanced Orthopedics Center includes an advanced imaging center (CT, MRI, US), ambulatory surgery, physical therapy, and an outpatient Orthopedics clinical tower
• Equipped with dual-energy CT, PET/MRI, and equipment across the enterprise
• Interpretation of 100% subspecialty MSK radiology using Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, Radiography, Conventional CT, Cone Beam CT, Dual Energy CT, MRI and US
• Collaboration with Orthopedic, Pathology, and Rheumatology Departments, with regular interdepartmental conferences and tumor boards

Shift & Schedule

• Full- or part-time
• Remote or onsite

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided joint injections, joint aspirations, and CT and MRI arthrography
• Actively participate in performing procedures (if onsite), teaching, research, and service

Compensation

• Base salary range: $415,000 - $455,000
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable

Qualifications

• ABR certified/eligible radiologist
• Fellowship-trained or equivalent experience
• Must have or be able to obtain a New York State Medical License
• Open to visa sponsorship
