Job Title: MRI Technologist
Join Stormont Vail Health as an MRI Technologist .
Overview: Operate MRI equipment and perform MRI procedures in a hospital setting, including high acuity ICU, ED, Stroke, and Trauma patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures by preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging.
- Assist radiologists during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients with pacemakers for MRI exams, including SafeScan mode setup.
- Assist anesthesiologists with MRI exams on sedated patients, setting up anesthesia equipment.
- Maintain knowledge of MRI-compatible IV pumps for medication transfer.
- Measure and administer contrast media.
- Adhere to all policies, standards, and training requirements of Stormont Vail Health.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year MRI experience (preferred).
- ARRT certification in MRI (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- ARRT certification in Radiography required.
