This role requires weekend availability – Saturday days – and willingness to cover holidays and call rotation. Summary
Performs high-quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.
Responsibilities
- Provides optimum patient care.
- Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely and correctly operate MRI equipment.
- Performs and records quality assurance daily #.
- Develops skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
- Develops skills in contrast administration.
- Demonstrates self‑direction and utilizes problem‑solving techniques.
- Cross‑trained in another modality.
- Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required
Minimum Experience: one year
Desired: 3 years experience in MRI; background in ultrasound or CT scan.

Work Schedule: Day/Eve 8
Work Shift: MRI Technologist Variable 40 hours per week. The technologist will be expected to take call on a rotation. Holiday call on a rotation.

Salary Range
$44,000 – $56,040 plus shift differentials.

Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Working Conditions
- Significant manual skills / motor coordination & finger dexterity.
- Significant occupational risk.
