Practice Info
- Clinic-based practice
- Hospital coverage provided by neuro hospitalists
- Department consists of 17 neurologists and 8 advanced practice providers with various subspecialty representations
- Opportunity to obtain an academic appointment at UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences
- Neurology Residency Program with 3 residents per year
- HDSA Center of Excellence with a multidisciplinary DBS team meeting monthly and monthly multidisciplinary team clinics for Huntington's Disease and Parkinson's Disease
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit patients (if applicable to the setting)
- Provide consultative services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system
- Educate medical students and residents
- Participate in research opportunities (if interested)

Requirements
- BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Neurology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
