Job Summary

The Mother Baby Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. The RN works in collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care for mothers and newborns.

• Collaborate with medical providers and interdisciplinary team members.

• Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

• Apply nursing models (“Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage”) to guide care delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation proficiency within 6 months of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing.

1 year required experience; no travel required.
