For the last 6 out of 7 years, Capital Bank was named one of the "Best Banks to Work For" in the U.S. by American Banker.Position PurposeThe Mortgage Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, optimization, and user enablement of CBHL's mortgage technology platforms, Loan Operating (LOS) which is Encompass, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (Candid) and Point of Sale (POS) system (Blend). This role serves as the subject matter expert for all systems.
The role ensures efficient system utilization across the organization by onboarding new employees, providing ongoing training and support, maintaining data integrity, and continuously improving workflows to enhance loan operational efficiency, user experience, and sales productivity.Position ResponsibilitiesServes as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Encompass loan origination system, including system configuration, maintenance, workflow management, user access, and ongoing optimization.Partner with Operations, Sales, Processing, Underwriting, Secondary, Compliance, and IT teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement technology-driven solutions.Administer and maintain the Candid CRM and Blend POS platforms, including user setup, permissions, and configurationLead onboarding for new employees, including system setup, training, and adoption supportDevelop and deliver training materials, documentation, and live sessions for loan officers, processors, and operations staffServe as the primary internal point of contact for CRM and POS-related questions, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionMonitor system usage and adoption; identify gaps and implement improvements to drive engagement and efficiencyMaintain data integrity within CRM by auditing records, enforcing standards, and resolving discrepanciesAssist with regulatory and compliance-related system requirements, including implementation of investor, agency, and internal policy updatesAssist in the design and implementation of campaigns, pipelines, and automated communication within CandidSupport integration efforts between CRM, POS, LOS (e.g., Encompass), and other internal systemsTrack and report on key metrics related to system usage, lead conversion, and operational efficiencyStay current on system updates, enhancements, and industry best practices; recommend and implement improvementsCoordinate with vendors (Candid and Blend) for support, upgrades, and issue escalationMinimum Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.3+ years of experience administering mortgage technology platforms within the mortgage banking industry.Direct experience with CRM platforms and/or mortgage POS systems preferredExperience onboarding or training employees on software systemsStrong understanding of residential mortgage workflows, including lead management through loan closingProven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentTechnical Knowledge and SkillsProficiency with CRM systems and POS platforms.Working knowledge of Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass and system integrationsStrong understanding of mortgage sales pipelines, lead management, and borrower workflowAbility to configure workflows, automation, and user settings within SaaS platformsData management skills, including maintaining accuracy, reporting, and basic analyticsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication skills with the ability to train both technical and non-technical usersHigh level of organization and attention to detailCompensationBase Salary Range : $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
