Monitoring EngineerAlpharetta, GA Contract US Citizen, GC Holder, EAD and TNJob Responsibilities:Responsible for analyzing existing monitoring solutions, understanding the roles of the applications they cover, and configuring, developing, and enhancing those solutions during the Datacenter Migration.Under limited direction, expand and enhance monitoring, alerting, and reporting on our newly migrated platformsParticipate in requirements gathering & scope discussions for applications or platforms being migrated that do not already have effective monitoring coverageAssist in the development, deployment, and refinement of monitoring standardsRequired:3-5 years of experience required (5+ Preferred)Work experience should indicate previous experience in at least 2 of the following areas:Tomcat Web developmentJava programmingJavaScript programmingPerl scriptingLog MonitoringInfrastructure MonitoringApplication & Performance MonitoringNetwork MonitoringSome experience with Databases (Oracle, SQL Server)Previous experience developing, deploying, and refining Dashboards, Alerts, & ReportsA strong knowledge of the relationship between software and hardware interactionStrong writing & documentation skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft® Word & Excel
