Monitor Tech- Full Time (Night Shift)Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director/Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse performs the Monitor Tech functions and Unit Secretary functions. Responsible for ensuring a professional atmosphere in the nursing unit. Demonstrates good public relations skills during interaction with physicians, patients, visitors, and other hospital staff.

Greets, directs, and gives non-professional factual information to patients and personnel from other departments. Critical to success of patient and physician satisfaction.High School Diploma or equivalent.Current BLSGood oral and written communication skills in the English language.Bilingual a plus.Medical terminology.Moderately advanced knowledge of ECG rhythms; knowledge of 12 lead ECG preferred.Previous experience as a monitor technician preferred.
