Test Engineer PositionNorthstrat is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our Agile development team. The Test Engineer will play a critical role in software and system testing, with a strong emphasis on balancing manual execution and automated scripting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation of complex systems in a fast-paced Agile environment.Responsibilities:Execute unit/component test procedures for all project components, create and execute integration test procedures, execute regression tests, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing and create and execute performance tests.Conduct component integration testing, which should include such items as performance and throughput benchmarking, fault tolerance, interface compliance, and functional completenessSupport current production system break/fix and enhancement efforts to include requirements review, test formulation, test scenario preparation, test execution, and test summary preparationDocument and analyze test results, produce status reports, and assist with the defect management processAbility to perform requirement analysis and work independently to create test products test plans, test cases, and test reports of good qualityAssist with technical artifacts including the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM), Use Cases, and User Interface SpecificationsCollect and report testing results to the architecture team and stakeholders on a regular basisMonitor defects so that they progress in a timely manner and adhere to the defect tracking process/standards and ensure they are adequately retested when fixedIdentify potential testing or work product improvementProvide informal demonstrations to staff and customers in conjunction with effortsDocument and track defects and change requests; provide input to and participate in Engineering Change Control processes; capture and report defect metrics
