I'm partnering with an established law firm seeking a litigation associate with approximately three to five years of experience to join its Seattle office. The team has substantial existing work and offers meaningful responsibility, direct partner collaboration, and long-term advancement opportunities.
Strong general litigators are encouraged to apply. This is an opportunity to build a focused practice involving complex commercial, construction, and project-related disputes. Prior construction litigation experience is not required.
The role includes:
- Managing discovery and developing case strategy.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Drafting substantive motions independently or with limited supervision.
- Supporting trials, arbitrations, and hearings, with increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
Candidates should bring strong litigation training from a national firm, regional litigation boutique, or comparable practice; excellent writing and advocacy skills; sound judgment; and a collaborative approach. Trial, arbitration, or hearing experience is a plus. Washington bar admission or eligibility for admission by waiver is required.
Why consider this opportunity?
- An established workload and immediate opportunities to contribute.
- Close collaboration with experienced partners.
- Meaningful opportunities for professional development and advancement toward partnership.
- A hybrid work arrangement.
