Method Development Chemist

Job Description

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 3+ months (Possibility of extension)

Local candidates only - Minneapolis, MN.

Required:

• Chromatography experience
• Analytical laboratory experience
• Seasoned HPLC chemist

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform method development on GPC methodology during a 3-month contract.
• Conduct and document laboratory work.
• Review and approve test records.
• Participate in the validation of new GPC test methods.

Basic Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum BS in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a regulated industry environment with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating HPLC.
• Experience in chemistry or material properties testing in a high-throughput laboratory.
• Ability to document work accurately and completely.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated with the ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of materials properties and GPC testing.
• Experience with laboratory data management systems.
• Experience with Empower chromatography software.
