A leading national healthcare organization is seeking detail-oriented, empathetic Customer Service Professionals to join their remote Member Services Team. In this high-volume role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for health plan members—navigating benefits, answering coverage inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer care while utilizing multi-screen technology.
This role begins as a 3-to-6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. LOCATION: 100% Remote (Must reside within a 1-to-2-hour radius of Lowry Blvd in Denver, CO 80230 for equipment pickup and temporary on-site coverage during technical or power/internet outages)
POSITION TYPE: 3-to-6 Month Contract (Strong possibility of extension, with candidates actively encouraged to apply for permanent openings companywide)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
- Training Pay: $21.63 / hour
- Post-Training Pay: $22.66 / hour
- Operating Hours: Must be flexible to work assigned 8-hour shifts within the operating window of Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 9:30 PM MT) and Saturday – Sunday (7:00 AM – 9:00 PM MT).
- Schedule Structure: Schedules fluctuate during the initial training and nesting periods. Upon completion of training, candidates receive a set schedule (subject to advanced notice adjustments based on call volume).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Member Advocacy & Call Handling: Respond to a high volume of inbound calls from health plan members, resolving questions with empathy and professionalism.
- Benefits & Billing Assistance: Guide members through benefit coverage details, order replacement ID cards, verify eligibility, handle billing inquiries, and process payments.
- Real-Time Data Entry: Accurately update member records, patient profiles, and demographic details across multiple database platforms simultaneously.
- Compliance & Tracking: Maintain precise interaction logs and ensure full adherence to organizational guidelines and healthcare privacy standards across dual-screen setups.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of dedicated Call Center experience OR 1+ years of combined Healthcare and Customer Service experience (healthcare knowledge is a strong plus).
- Assessments & Screening: Must pass required skill assessments, background checks (criminal history and education verification), drug screening, and 7-year employment history verification.
- Technical & Multi-Screen Skills: Proven ability to navigate multiple computer databases and dual screens while actively conversing on the phone.
- Geographic & On-Site Requirement: Must reside within 1 to 2 hours of Denver, CO 80230. Candidates are required to pick up company-issued equipment in person and must be available to report on-site to the Denver facility if technical, power, or internet outages occur at their home office.
