Job Description:

Position Summary: Supervised by a Registered Nurse, the medication refill coordinator guides our patients through a seamless process to ensure that their medications are refilled in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions: Provide patient service according to the community standards for outpatient care, Family Medicine protocols/procedures, hospital standards, and professional nursing standards of practice.

Salary Range:

$19.50 - $25.00 an hour

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications:

1. n

   Education: HS diploma or equivalent required, Medical Assisting or Medical Secretary in an outpatient medical practice setting preferred

   Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an outpatient care setting preferred.

   License/Certification Required: American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification preferred.

   Understanding of medical terminology
