Danbury Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a Medical Director of Structural Heart to lead its Heart and Vascular Institute in Danbury, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified cardiologist with interventional cardiology expertise and significant post-fellowship experience in structural heart.

Responsibilities
- Establish clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices for structural heart interventions
- Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies and procedures
- Lead multidisciplinary heart team meetings and case selection conferences
- Establish and monitor quality metrics and clinical outcomes, including oversight of data collection and submission to national registries
- Recruit and retain specialized structural heart team members
- Provide leadership and training opportunities for support staff
- Develop strategic plans for program growth, expand referral networks, and collaborate with marketing on promotion and outreach
- Partner with members of the Heart and Vascular Institute as well as other departments and hospital administration

Requirements
- Board certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience post fellowship training
- Post fellowship training experience in Structural Heart is ideal
