Medical Director of Pediatric Motility

Job Overview

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist with expertise in Motility and Functional GI disorders to lead our Motility & Functional Gastrointestinal disorders program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Motility & Functional GI disorders program, performing esophageal, antroduodenal, colonic, and anorectal manometries.
• Utilize video capsule endoscopy, pH-impedance probe, Endoflip, and transnasal endoscopy technologies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including dietitians, social workers, psychologists, nurses, and specialty authorization staff.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives and contribute to resident, fellow, and provider education.
• Assist in the Complex Colorectal Program, providing advanced care for anorectal malformations, cloacal anomalies, Hirschsprung disease, and refractory constipation.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified pediatric gastroenterologist with experience in motility procedures.
• Proven leadership experience and a track record of clinical excellence.
• Strong research background; a generous research package is available.
• Academic appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Clinical Educator or Clinical Scholar track at Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
