Responsibilities
The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice and Baptist Health and Crossbridge policies and procedures. This will include administration of medications, reporting of patient symptoms, and conditions to the Registered Nurse. The LPN is also responsible for the provision of quality patient care within the framework of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health and Crossbridge. Those individuals within Employee Health will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
License / Certification
Active LPN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned.
