Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $21-$22/hr

Shift: 1st & 2nd - LOTS OF OT!

Job Summary: Looking for skilled Assemblers with strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude to assemble sheet metal parts and components utilizing a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to locate blueprint direction (far side vs near side).
• Able to install hardware with the proper pressure to avoid damaging feature parts.
• Work from work order, samples, drawing, written and verbal instruction.
• Use small hand tools, such as rubber hammer, wrenches, screwdriver, pliers, others.
• Consistently monitor quality of product to maintain quality standards.
• Identify parts for inspection - as required (part of the overall quality control process).
• Update travelers and input as required per job.
• Maintaining workplace housekeeping to provide a safe, clean work environment.

Essential Functions Physical Requirements to do this job:

• Physical demands (lifting up to 25lbs) when needed
• Pushing up to 50lbs when needed
• Loading and unloading material (25lbs)
• Walking about 10%
• Stationed about 85%
• Kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting when needed 5%

Skills:

• Strong mechanical and math skills
• Ability to use a measuring tape and other measuring instruments
• Detail Oriented

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding of production and manufacturing process
• Detail- oriented
• Willing to work late, early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary
• Team player
• Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform
