Mechanical AssemblerJoin a fast-paced manufacturing team where you'll work hands-on assembling high-quality mechanical components used in major commercial projects. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable with tools, and looking for a role where you can grow, this is a strong fit.ResponsibilitiesMechanical Assembly — Assemble hatches and panels using drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and tape measures.Blueprint Interpretation — Read and interpret blueprints to complete accurate mechanical builds.Panel Preparation — Install insulation and prepare panels for painting; hang panels on hooks for finishing.Packaging & Shipping — Package completed assemblies, verify accuracy, and prepare orders for shipment.Cross-Training — Support multiple departments and fill in where needed to keep production running smoothly.Shop Standards — Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures.Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.Essential SkillsMechanical Assembly Experience — At least 6 months in mechanical assembly or similar work.Blueprint Reading — Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.Measurement Skills — Confident using a tape measure for precise measurements.Tool Proficiency — Comfortable with drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools.Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.High school diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsHands-On Experience — Mechanical, automotive, or similar experience.Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly equipment.Comfort working in a metal manufacturing environment similar to an auto body shop.Willingness to cross-train and support multiple departments.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Why Work HereEmployees benefit from profit sharing, generous paid time off, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both financial and personal well-being.14 days PTO + 9 paid holidays401(k) matchHealth insurance & flexible spending accountsTuition reimbursement for continued developmentWork on interesting, high-profile projects for well-known venues and clientsA team-oriented environment where craftsmanship and reliability matterWork EnvironmentThis is a 1st-shift role in a hands-on metal manufacturing facility.EBP Schedule: Mon–Thu 5:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; Fri 5:30 a.m.–9:30 a.m.WBP Schedule: Mon–Thu 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; Fri 5:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.Overtime available in extended Friday shifts.Dress code: pants (no sweats/athletic wear), short-sleeve shirt or longer, steel-toed boots.Non-union shop; industrial environment where safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
