Join our Tampa MFM team as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician in an outpatient-only setting with no on-call duties. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within a collaborative, physician-led environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to optimizing maternal and fetal outcomes for high-risk obstetric patients.

  • Outpatient MFM Specialist
  • Supportive team of 18 staff members, including 7 sonographers, 1 RN, 1 medical assistant, 1 LPN, and 2 patient representatives
  • Access to state-of-the-art equipment: 2 NST machines, 8 ultrasound machines, and 3 offices
  • EMR: eClinicalWorks; GE Viewpoint
  • Clinical excellence initiatives led by a physician-led organization
  • Participation in physician-driven committees

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert MFM consultation, risk assessment, and management for high-risk obstetric patients in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes
  • Contribute to patient education and informed decision-making
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence activities within a physician-led organization

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • 1–2 years of MFM experience preferred
  • Current valid license to practice medicine in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain one
  • Current DEA certificate or ability to obtain
  • Board eligibility in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOBOG) required; board certification required within 5 years of eligibility; ongoing employment contingent upon certification
  • Current BLS certification required
