Material Planning ManagerOur client, Rise Baking Company, a growing food manufacturing company, is seeking a Material Planning Manager to lead and develop the Material Planning function across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting production objectives through effective planning and procurement strategies. The Material Planning Manager will partner closely with Sourcing, Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain leadership to drive operational efficiency, support long-term business goals, and lead a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement.Some responsibilities include:Develop and execute material planning strategies to support production, inventory optimization, and forecast alignmentLead material purchasing activities while balancing budget, lead time, and customer service requirementsMonitor key performance indicators including inventory turns, material availability, and fill rates to drive continuous improvementLead, coach, and develop the Material Planning team while fostering a culture of accountability and collaborationSome qualifications include:8+ years of experience in material planning or purchasing utilizing MRP systems5+ years of experience within food manufacturing3+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to develop high-performing teamsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field; APICS certification preferredExcellent compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits program.
