Material Handler PositionsHamilton Connections is seeking candidates for material handler positions at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions.First Shift: 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Salary: $21 an hour.Second Shift: 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday.
Salary: $23 an hour.Third Shift: 10:30 p.m.-7 a.m., Sunday-Thursday. Salary: $25 an hour. Training may be required on the first or second shift.Job Responsibilities:Moving material in and out of pallet racks using forkliftsMoving needed materials on time to assemblers using a forkliftMaking labels using MS Word label programTaking waste cardboard and lumber to dumpstersAssembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves as neededTaking special inventory counts for the buyer or plannerPacking actuators when neededOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Forklift experience and previous certificationHigh school diploma or GEDKnowledge of weighing scalesExperience working in a fast-paced warehouse environmentKnowledge to do weigh countsOrganization skills to get proper parts to assemblers on timeReading and writing skills necessary for making and reading labelsAbility to handle physical aspects of the job, including lifting up to 70 lbs.Able to read and write in EnglishAble to work overtime as neededAble to pass pre-employment screenings
