Manufacturing Technology EngineerThe Manufacturing Technology (MT) Engineer plays a critical role in advancing process safety, operational excellence, and technology implementation. This role partners across Operations, EH&S, and R&D to deliver Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, support plant troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement and growth projects. The position offers the opportunity to impact both tactical operations and long-term technology strategies while developing site capability through coaching and technical leadership.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and participate in front-end loading of capital projectsApply line-of-business process knowledge to define and deliver technical solutions for PSM, Grow, and Improve projectsSupport and influence Business Technology Implementation Plans (BTIP) and Multi-Generational Technology Plans (MGTP)Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and front-end loading activities for capital projectsServe as the primary Manufacturing Technology contact for advanced troubleshooting and complex operational issuesProvide technical coaching, training, and capability development for operations engineers and technical staffSupport Root Cause Investigations (RCIs) to resolve production and reliability issuesLead or support raw material qualifications and product trials for new and existing productsValidate and standardize process technology solutions, ensuring documentation and knowledge sharing across the networkProvide technical input and leadership in Management of Change (MOC) processesCollaborate cross-functionally with Operations, EH&S, R&D, and Manufacturing Technology teams to drive aligned outcomesParticipate in project reviews to ensure technical rigor, execution quality, and continuous improvementWhat Defines SuccessDemonstrates strong learning agility and the ability to adapt in dynamic manufacturing environmentsApplies analytical thinking to solve complex technical and operational challengesBuilds technical depth while translating insights into practical plant solutionsCommunicates effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholdersBuilds trust through accountability, transparency, and follow-throughListens actively and incorporates diverse perspectives to drive better decisionsDemonstrates ownership and a strong sense of purpose in delivering resultsMaintains resilience in the face of operational challenges and ambiguityCollaborates effectively to achieve team and business outcomesActs with accountability, taking responsibility for decisions and outcomesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)5+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or related experienceDemonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities in a plant settingPreferred QualificationsExperience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs (high or low hazard operations)Experience supporting capital projects and process hazard analyses (PHA)Experience with Management of Change (MOC) and Root Cause Investigation (RCI) processesDuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
