Manufacturing TechnicianThe Manufacturing Technician performs wafer fabrication processes for semiconductor device production in a cleanroom environment, following detailed written procedures and process specifications. This role is responsible for independently troubleshooting process-related issues, identifying root causes, and proposing effective solutions. The technician collaborates closely with engineering to implement corrective actions, ensure process stability, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.The scheduled working hours for this position are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
For this role, there is a training period that lasts approximately 3–4 months, during which you would need to work on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).Responsibilities:Operate standard wafer fabrication equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelinesMaintain strict adherence to safety protocols and demonstrate working knowledge of OSHA regulationsAccurately record and enter operational data into designated logs, forms, or digital systemsDiagnose process discrepancies, develop effective solutions, and execute corrective actions to ensure accurate wafer processing and prevent defectsIdentify potential issues in wafer processing, independently develop and implement solutions to successfully complete each process stepCollaborate closely with engineering teams to communicate findings, escalate complex problems, and implement corrective actionsThis job description is not intended to be all inclusive. You may be required to perform other related duties as assignedRequirements/Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED3 - 5 years of experience in a wafer fabrication or manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of Diffusion, Photolithography, and Wet Etch processes is preferredExperience with the safe handling and disposal of acids, solvents, and other hazardous chemicals preferredAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standardsSolid understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control requirementsSelf-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsU.S.
