Manufacturing Production Supervisor III
Location: Denver, CO 80216
Shifts: 1st Shift: 6am to 2:30pm / 2nd Shift: 2pm to10:30pm / 3rd Shift: 10pm to 6:30am
Days: To be decided s management is currently developing a schedule. Associates may be required to work weekends, potentially at least one day each weekend.

Position Purpose: Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large, complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.

Position Purpose: Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large, complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.
Key Responsibilitie:
- Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
- Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
- Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
- Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.
- Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines.
- Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)
- 2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
- 1 of more years' experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong leadership background - ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce
- Ability to manage and develop employees
- Availability - willingness to work hours and holidays
- Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
