Manufacturing OperatorOn-Board Services is hiring a Manufacturing Operator in Wilmington, DE. This is a contract position offering benefits including 401K, dental insurance, life insurance, medical insurance, and vision insurance.
Compensation is $21/hour.Duties/Responsibilities:Maintain compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures and guidelines.Transport materials between Building 8165 & 8159, staging raw materials for upcoming production.Prepare for production, weighing and staging raw materialRepackage raw materials for resalePerform all the manufacturing duties per the associated work instructionOperate the IBC and Blender Column LiftsAssemble blenders and charge the blenders with dry powdersCharge the blenders with plasticizerDischarge the blenders into packages or IBCsDisassemble and clean the blenders, IBC's and miscellaneous tools using the Clean in Place systemOperation of sifters/screenersOperation of the Fitz Mill and Frewitt Mill and other auxiliary equipmentOperation of the dust collector.Package final productComplete all GMP documentationPerform daily and weekly housekeeping assignmentsPerform daily checks as necessaryWork with minimal direction and guidanceMinimum Qualifications:HS/AA degree or equivalentDemonstrates good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Able to become Forklift certified, on-site training available.Able to perform the basic SAP functions looking up raw material inventories.Attentive to detail, good planning & organizational skills, and good use of independent time.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to properly assemble and disassemble equipment.Physical Requirements:Lift 55 kgs (approx. 121lbs)Ability to work around strong magnets.Need to be able to wear a respirator, FIT Test Required.Stand/Sit for extended time.
