Responsibilities:
- Develop and document assembly processes using Lean Manufacturing methodologies. This will include complete documentation of the sequence of operation, standard times, material layout quality checks and process documentation.
- Coordinate with supplier for test equipment that will be designed to test products assembled on the bench
- Qualify the test process with the supplier to assure the test process is robust verifying function and assuring no quality escapes
- Document the complete test process
- Training technicians on assembly and test process. Validate technicians on competency to assembly & test process
- 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of lean processes, assembly to TAKT time
- Knowledge of bench build layout based on lean methodologies

- Monitor process and identify standard hours
- Identify opportunities to reduce assembly time and confirm no quality or assembly issues with any proposed changes
