Test Equipment TechnicianWe are seeking a hands-on Test Equipment Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of test fixtures and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with engineering teams to ensure all test systems operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with quality standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of test fixtures and equipmentEnsure all test systems are fully operational, reliable, and meet quality requirementsCollaborate with Test Engineers to diagnose and resolve technical issuesSupport workflow scheduling and complete administrative tasks as neededMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performanceEnsure timely completion of assigned tasks to support production timelinesUse electronic test equipment (e.g., digital multimeters, oscilloscopes) to analyze performanceApply basic soldering techniques and operate hand and pneumatic toolsFollow all safety procedures and adhere to facility standardsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology, technical trade certification, military technical training, or equivalent experienceMinimum 4 years of hands-on experience with test equipment, electronics, or a related fieldAbility to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systemsExperience with test and measurement tools (e.g., DMMs, oscilloscopes)Basic soldering skills and familiarity with electronic componentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)Ability to identify color-coded wiring and cablesPreferred QualificationsExperience working with high-voltage systems (up to 480V)Background in manufacturing or test engineering environments
