Enterprise Risk ManagerCompensation: $102,349.65 - $187,445.49 (Based on Experience)Summary: We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager. This individual will be responsible for identifying risk, preparing risk mitigation strategies, including but not limited to procurement, assessment, and coordination of insurance coverage, reviewing internal documents such as contracts to ensure that appropriate coverage is available to mitigate GLWA risk.Job ResponsibilitiesConducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and trendsEstablishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizationRecommends and implements risk management solutions such as insurance, business continuity plans, or recovery measuresManage and administer the operations of a facility or functional unitManage and motivate a diverse workforceEffectively manage all assigned staff, daily assignments and provide on the job trainingDevelop, recommend, and administer the annual operating and capital budgets for the unit to ensure expenditures are controlled, maintained, and approvedEnsure that financial planning, performance measurement, and reporting are developed and in compliance with legislative requirements and are in support of the division's goals and objectivesEnsure compliance with all corporate and legislative requirements to meet operational, environmental, health and safety standards, and ensures the effectiveness and compliance of maintenance and operationsLiaise with elected officials, public, and represents the division on various committees managing complaints, requests for information, and safety concerns. Ability to drive a motor vehicle on all terrainManages, directs, and oversees the investigation, administration, and adjudication of tort claims filed against the organization; manage the formulation of findings and makes recommendations for actionParticipates in contract review processes to ensure minimization of riskRequired Education and ExperienceAt the time of application:Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or closely related fieldFive years of recent management and operational experience gained through progressively more responsible positionsOther Requirement:Valid Driver's LicensePhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
